New Year - new bus.
The new London bus designed by Thomas Heatherwick will take us back to the good old days of the routemaster, allowing us to hop on and off whenever we want. 40% more fuel efficient than conventional diesel buses, prototypes of the new design will start appearing on the 38 bus route soon.
Heatherwick is a new favourite of mine, a very open-minded and creative designer. And the new bus looks awesome, I especially like the window ‘wrapping around” the side of the bus so you have a view when you go upstairs.
